Airport runway and road marking coatings

In airports safety is paramount. Specific non-flammable high performance water based road marking paint designed to self clean, is used on airport runways. It is designed for use where high visibility is required along with a controlled wearing properties that prevent hazardous line thickening.

Pacific Coatings supply environmentally friendly, low odour, water based airport runway coatings that contain less than 10 grams per litre of volatile organic compounds (VOC), whilst ensuring optimum durability and glass bead retention. We also supply black coatings and machinery for line removal.

We only supply products that are manufactured to Australian and International standards and will gladly assist in designing your maintenance program

Highways & Road marking

We recommend high performance thermoplastic and water based road marking paint approved to Australian Standards for highways, streets, intersection stencil applications, bike lanes, pedestrian and shared crossings and parking lots.

Highway and road marking paints require quick drying properties to ensure resistance to wash out by rain and well as excellent wear and resistance. Our products are suitable for use with coated or uncoated glass beads and on all types of road surfaces both bituminous and concrete.

Thermoplastic coating is a long life road marking product that resists weather extremes and spoling and has great colour fastness. Thermoplastic coatings are becoming increasingly popular due to their fast drying time, durability, long term retro-reflectivity and low VOC.

Thermoplastic coating is formulated with properties which allows the material, when correctly applied to form raised ribs or blocks. The raised formations create an audible sound when driven over that warns drivers not to stray out of their lane.

Pacific Coatings promote environmentally friendly, low odour, non-flammable coatings that are water thinnable and use water for cleanup.

Industrial line marking

Heavy use industrial line marking projects have unique specifications and applications.  Pacific Coatings specify and supply complete preparation and application systems for indoor and outdoor surfaces including car parks, warehouses, factory floors, ports and container yards as well as areas with high hygiene requirements such as food manufacturing and preparation areas and hospitals.

Pacific Coatings recommend high build epoxy resins which are hard wearing, high gloss, high build and chemical and UV resistant for heavy use industrial line marking applications. Slip-resistant and high visibility/luminance finishes can be supplied.

Reflective Glass Beads

Reflective Glass Beads also known as Highway Marking Spheres cost effectively improve road safety, particularly at night time in poor visibility. Pacific Coatings supply reflective glass beads of the highest quality and composition that meet Australian and International standards.

The beads can be mixed or applied as “drop-on” in water-borne, epoxy, polyester, thermoplastic, PMMA, polyurethane, polyurea and VOC-compliant coatings. As the coating wears the glass beads are exposed to provide long life, continuous retroreflectivity.

Reflective Glass Beads supplied by Pacific Coatings meet the highest quality standards of size uniformity, cleanliness, clarity and refractivity. Spherically shaped beads are sourced in order to ensure that light is efficiently reflected rather than scattered. Reflective glass beads are supplied in various sizes depending on the required application. roundness, cleanliness, clarity, uniformity of size gradation and refractive index
